| techniques each day. By the end
of the four sessions you will be well equipped to use several hypnosis
techniques to achieve a relatively pain-free, peaceful birth. Because
you are deeply relaxed during labor, your baby will probably be born
more quickly. With hypnosis during labor your body can do its work
naturally without tension or resistance; often eliminating several hours
of labor time. Babies born with the Hypno-Beginning® method are
generally under much less stress and have higher apgar scores. As
a family you will be able to bond more readily, allowing for a more peaceful,
joyful, and satisfying beginning to family life.
If there is a true need for medical intervention,
the skills learned with the Hypno-Beginning® method help the new mother
respond well to chemical or surgical intervention. You will still have
skills and techniques to last a lifetime; for better sleep, relaxation,
and if needed pain control. And-you will be able to share some of these
skills with your child as he or she grows.
If you or someone you know plans to have
a baby in the near future, I sincerely hope you will consider hypnosis
as your method of choice for a nearly pain-free birth. Those who have tried
this method are sincerely glad they did!
Please check here
for Hypno-Beginning® classes and introductory lectures. Private sessions
are also available. Keep in mind, both classes and private sessions
include the birthing partner as well as the Mother-To-Be. It is best
to begin Hypno-Beginning training at least 6 to 8 weeks before your due
date, keeping in mind that some babies are born early. I suggest
that you schedule your classes/sessions between the 28th and 32nd week
of pregnancy. Please call early to register for a class.

| “Hypnosis offers much,
much greater pain control than Lamaze. During active labor, many
women using hypnosis rate their discomfort at about a level 2 on a 0 to
10 scale with 0 being no pain and 10 being the highest level of pain. Hypnosis
also significantly reduces suffering, the emotional component of pain.

“Children born to hypnotized
mothers scored higher on Apgar tests (a measure of health) and the mothers
were less prone to post partum depression…those who have previously given
birth without hypnosis tell doctors that it makes labor a more pleasant
experience.”
